Battlekart Melbourne invites you to its 4,000m² facility at 50 McArthur St, West Footscray, Melbourne. Enjoy a spacious track spanning 2,000m², accommodating up to 12 karts for simultaneous play.

Witness the excitement from our central snack bar and seating area, providing spectators with a stunning view of the games.

Our snack bar and sanitary facilities are wheelchair-accessible, though access to the circuits and activities is limited for individuals with reduced mobility.

Convenient free parking is available on-site.

Due to an absence of cash on the premises, we are unable to accept payments in cash. However, you can conveniently settle your bills for drinks and games using credit card and EFTPOS payments.

At Battlekart, your safety is of utmost importance to us. We combine the thrill of karting with the imaginative realm of augmented reality, creating a unique recreational experience. To ensure a secure environment, our karts are equipped with advanced anti-collision technology and seat belts. If a kart veers off track, the game will automatically pause to prevent any mishaps. Our rigorous safety measures are designed to provide a fun and secure gaming adventure, showcasing our unwavering commitment to your well-being.

Please be aware that Battlekart offers a gaming experience rather than traditional go-kart racing.

    • It is mandatory to secure long hair, and elastic bands are available upon request.
    • Ensure that glasses are firmly attached during the activity; straps are available for purchase if needed.
    • Refrain from wearing loose clothing and scarves to minimize the risk of entanglement with go-kart machinery.
    • For safety, keep arms and legs within the go-kart throughout the entire event.
    • Avoid any contact between go-karts and refrain from touching the go-kart chargers.
    • Entering the track area is not allowed without explicit permission
    • Boarding or exiting your go-kart is only permitted with the operator’s authorisation.

At Battlekart, we prioritise the safety and enjoyment of all our participants. Therefore, it is strictly prohibited to engage in our augmented reality karting activity under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Breaching this policy will lead to immediate removal from the premises to uphold a secure and enjoyable environment for everyone. We deeply appreciate your cooperation in following our safety guidelines, as it is essential for maintaining a fun and safe gaming atmosphere.

  • A minimum height of 1.45m is required to safely access the controls. Our staff may measure participants without shoes and deny access if the height requirement is not met.
  • The following individuals are prohibited from the activity:
    • Those with epilepsy
    • Individuals with back or neck conditions
    • Pregnant women
  • The activity is not recommended for:
    • People with heart conditions
    • Individuals with pacemakers, due to the magnetic fields from the engines (despite passing EMV tests)
  • Additional recommendations:
    • Individuals with sensitive hearing should bring ear protection.
    • Participants over 120kg or with a larger build may find the activity uncomfortable or unfeasible due to seat size constraints.

To ensure you get to play at your preferred time, we recommend booking your games well in advance on our website!

Games remain open to additional participants until the maximum player capacity is reached. This means that smaller groups may be joined by other players who sign up for the same game session.

Free lockers are provided in the waiting area for you to store your personal belongings while you engage in the karting action.

BattleKart experiences high traffic on Friday evenings, Saturdays, Sundays, and during school holidays. To guarantee your spot, we suggest booking at least two weeks in advance for these periods. For a more relaxed experience, consider joining us between Tuesday and Thursday. Please be aware that we do not accommodate walk-ins. 

West Footscray is conveniently located just a short distance from Melbourne’s central district. 

This means you can enjoy all the attractions, dining and entertainment that the city has to offer.
