The nitro will give you a substantial speed boost. Enjoy it while it lasts because it will fade after a few seconds... or when you're hit by an opponent's attack.
If you want to stop an opponent from progressing too quickly, wait for the right moment, aim well and fire your rocket to enjoy a colorful explosion. Your opponent will be red-faced, that's for sure!
To get a bonus, make ten tiles in a row light up in your team's color. Drive over your own tiles to speed up the tempo, but remember that in this case, getting a bonus won't be that easy. It's up to you to choose your strategy!

A glance at the temporary leaderboard on the dashboard will tell you which color and rivals to target. You can also check the dominant color of the scenery on the walls*, which tells you in real time who's is in the lead...
